19800128 Executive Committee ReportTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG Executive Committee REPORT Monday, January 28th, 1980 -10:00 P.M. Present: Councillors:-Webster, Miggens, Story, Ferrie, Bromley, Irvine, Unsworth and Linton. The Executive Committee recommends to Council as follows: 1. In the matter of the sale of lands to DeCloet Bros., the matter of the "building clause" on the said lands be referred back to the Industrial Commission for clarification. 2. The agreement of purchase and sale between the Town and Tillsonburg Dairies as submitted in letter from D.M. Gibson dated January 22nd, 1980 and recommended by the Property Committee be accepted conditional on the provision that taxes be adjusted as of date of vacant possession to the Town. (Councillor Linton declared indirect conflict and asked to be excused from discussion). 3. The communication from Larry Innanen on behalf of Ken Ross Cleaners concerning negotiations be referred back to the Committee appointed for further discussion and negotiation. 4. That items 3 and 4 of the rep0rt of the Industrial Commission of December 20th, 1979 be now approved. 5. That nominations for Citizen of the Year award be left to individual members of Council. Committee adjourned to reconvene January 29th, 1980 at 8:00 P.M. to review job descriptions and departmental budgets.
