Monday, December 17th, 1979.
The Planning Advisory Committee for the Town of Tillsonburg met on
Monday, December 17th, 1979 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers,
1 Library Lane, 2nd Floor, Tillsonburg, Ontario.
PRESENT: Chairman, D. Millman; Members: M. Klein, T. Brown, D. Tisdale,
J. Wild, W. Fuller.
ABSENT: M. Chesterman, C. Bromley, J. Unsworth and K. Husted.
ALSO PRESENT: Mrs. Elizabeth Ottaway, Senior Planner, County of
Oxford, D. C. Morris, Deputy Town Clerk.
1. ADOPTION OF MINUTES:

2. OFFICIAL PLAN AND ZONING AMENDMENT APPLICATION -GARTNER

application be deferred and re-scheduled at regular
January meeting due to absence of applicant.

within 400 feet of subject property be re-notified
of re-scheduled public hearing.

3, CONVERTED DWELLINGS -Rl ZONE
Following lengthy discussion as to the merits of an amendment to
the Town's comprehensive zoning By-Law to permit the conversion
of large single family dwellings to Duplex dwelling units with
appropriate controls as to minimum size, parking, access to units,
and development controls; it was:

carried out by this Committee as to other municipalities
experiences, policies, and legislation relating to such
conversions of single family dwellings.
