1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 4:34 p.m.
2. Adoption of Agenda
Resolution #1 Moved by: Carrie Lewis Seconded by: Councillor Esseltine THAT the Agenda as prepared for the Cultural, Heritage and Special Awards
Advisory Committee meeting of November 4, 2020, be adopted.
Carried 3. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof There were no disclosures of pecuniary interest declared.
4. Adoption of Minutes of Previous Meeting Resolution #2 Moved by: Councillor Esseltine Seconded by: Carrie Lewis
THAT the Minutes of the Cultural, Heritage and Special Awards Advisory Committee
meeting of October 21, 2020, be approved. Carried 5. General Business & Reports
5.1. Citizen of the Year Event Update
Laura provided an overview on the preparations for the Citizen of the Year event and noted that everything is on track. Laura posed the question to the group on ideas for a gift to the recipient. Suggestions were made to provide the gift of
‘BIA Bucks’ or a Kelsey’s gift card. Members were asked to send any other ideas they have by the end of the week to Laura.
5.2. Tillsonburg 150 Report Update Laura noted that the report requesting the unused cultural grants be transferred into reserves will be going to Council on November 23, 2020.
5.3. Letter for Erin- Draft
The members were in favour of the drafted letter thanking the former member for her efforts on the committee. 5.4. Nomination of Vice-Chair

Moved by: Mark Dickson Seconded by: Collette Takacs THAT Carrie Lewis be nominated and selected to fill the Vice-Chair position on the Cultural, Heritage and Special Awards Advisory Committee.
