MINUTES of the meeting of the Experience Tillsonburg Committee
held August 14th, 1992 at 9:30 A.M. in Council Chambers.
PRESENT: J. Armstrong, W. Vansevenant, P. Carroll, B. Arts,
G. Found, M. Sullivan, H. Keenliside, B. Carroll,

1. Hydro
Action By:
Permission was received from the Value Centre and
Northgraves to use their hydro. P. Carroll will walk
Broadway on Saturday to verify arrangements. P. Carroll
2. Beer Blimp
The beer blimp will be set up in the mall parking lot.
3. Street Closing
Street closing arrangements were reviewed

5. Security
Chief Harley suggested a security guard be hired from
9:00 P.M. to 9:00 A.M. P. Carroll will lend him a
cellular phone. It was suggested that D. McEwan be
contacted to provide someone.

6. Setup Committee
The Rotary Club can probably supply some people to
help setup and take-down. Members of the committee
who are available will meet Friday, August 22nd, at
3:00 P.M. to assist in the setup.
7. Stage
The stage will be taken down Friday night at 9:00 P.M.
8. Tug O' War
Mark Heywood will coordinate and M.C. Molson's to be
asked to provide 20 T-shirts as prizes.
9. Other
Chairs for the Big Band Concert will be provided.
St. John's Ambulance requires a letter.
Garbage cans (6) and picnic tables -O.K.
Cafe 'N Sweets to be contacted re: refreshments at
band concert.
CKOT will M.C. Big Band Concert.
10. Battle of Bands
Knights of Columbus to advise re: crowd control.
B. McKay has advised that his expenses include $100
for an amp and $100 fee for the grandstand.
11. Classic Car Show
Friday -29 confirmed.
Saturday -28 confirmed.
12. Date of Wrap-Up Meeting
Wrap-up meeting: Friday, September 11, 1992 at
9:30 A.M., Council Chambers
