Arts, J. Armstrong, G. Found, M. Sullivan, B. Carroll, F. Brown, J. Ladoucer, P. Carroll 1. Hydro Carmel Corn -Value Centre to be asked Mechanical Rides -requirements Flossie -Off Broadway to be asked Jazz Band -requirements Black Bart -does he provide microphone? Pat Carroll will check eas:e, of power at Broadway Photo 2. Beer Blimp Beer Blimp to be located at front of tent on mall Action By: J. Armstrong P. Carroll B. Carroll F. Brown F. Brown P. Carroll parking lot. Molson's van to be asked to be present. P. Carroll 3. Street Closing It was suggested that due to concerns from the B.I.A., Ridout St. should be kept open for east/west traffic. The Police Dept. and Works Dept. to be asked re: any concerns. 4. B.I.A. Newsletter Advise retailers not in closed area that they can display merchandise on street in closed area. Contact F. Brown for a location. A list of events to be circulated next newsletter . •••• 2 F. Brown -2- 5. Security React is not available. Kinsmen will have two (2) police and one security person from 8:30 P.M. to 1:30 A.M. both evenings. The Chief and/or Deputy Chief to be asked to attend next meeting re: security. 6. Setup Committee The Rotary Club and/or Knights of Columbus to be approached re: assistance for setup and teardown on August 21/22. Committee persons available: B. Carroll, F. Brown, B. Arts, S, Harris (Fri.) and G. Found. Items to be done: tarps moved to rides if rain rides moved Saturday P.M. assistance re: setup 7. Stage picnic tables taken down Sat. P.M. cleanup of Broadway, Sat. A.M. tape down electric cords assist take down of stage Sat. A.M. garbage cans set out Mall to supply and setup stage. May need assistance to take down on Saturday. B. Tug O' War Molson's to be asked re: prizes. B. Carroll to find an MC. 9. Other Chairs for Big Band (20) St. John's Ambulance Picnic tables for in front of stage (20) Boy Scouts for clean-up Saturday A.M.
