MINUTES of the meeting of April 4, 1991.
PRESENT: S. Harris, J. Mccurdy, J. Armstrong, W. Kleer,
J. Whitmore, F. Brown, B. Carroll, B. Moody,
B. Arts
1. Media Report
A letter from Lake Shore Shopper was circulated.
B. Carroll reported on the meeting.
Package cost: $320 + G.S.T. The committee
requires a pre-promo budget of $2,000 to come
from the BIA, Chamber of Commerce, Sifton's
and the Town of Tillsonburg.
The media will meet again to discuss ad sizes,
presentation folder, etc.
2. Community Centre
J. Mccurdy reported that a committee has been
formed to hold a triathalon on August 24th. They
expect 300 participants.
3. Other
The Lion's Club will be hosting a dance featuring
the Lulu's Roadhouse Band on august 23rd. Jack
Whitmore to follow-up re: soap box derby.
Fran Brown to get a cost re: updating banner.
4. Date of Next Meeting
Media Meeting: April 18th, 1991 at 10:00 a.m. at CKOT.
Committee Meeting: May 2nd, 1991 at 9:30 a.m. in Council
Chambers.
