The meeting was called to order at 4:25 p.m.
Present:
Councillor Chris Parker (left meeting at 4:40 pm), Councillor Deb Gilvesy, Deputy Mayor
Dave Beres, Dave Rushton, Rick Cox, Donna Wilson

2. Project Review and Next Steps
Discussion took place on the proposed list of projects.
It was determined that the list to be reduced and to include project estimated
costs.
A few additional suggestions were provided, welcome signage and wayfinding signage which include service club logos.
Another suggestion was to fix the entrances to the community centre with
accessibility features (sliding doors) and name them after the donor – the Kiwanis
entrance etc.
It was determined that the projects should focus on current assets and not to introduce any new projects, to fix what we have and prioritize the list and restore the community.

Discussion took place regarding how to roll out the project lists and how to present this to the community.
Staff to prepare a power point presentation which includes a smaller list of projects, possibly 10 and to include estimated project costs. To include
communications in drafting some aspects of the presentation – adopt a park – take back your community.
Service clubs are interested in providing in kind work (sweat equity) on projects – painting landscaping etc.
The Chamber of Commerce and the Business community to be included in
presentations.
To set up the next meeting on March 31, 2020 at 4:30 and to set up a meeting with the major service clubs, Kinsmen, Lions, and Rotary on April 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm.
It was decided that going to the three main service clubs and discussing how to
repair the relationship with the town is the next step. To have the project presentation ready if the discussion leads to the project list. 3. Next Steps
Next meeting to be March 31, 2020 – at 4:30 pm
April 15 2020 meeting to be at 7:00 p.m. with the service club representatives
