BY-LAW 2022-025
A by-law to authorize an Agreement between Her Majesty the Queen in right of the
Province of Ontario, as represented by the Ministry of Transportation (the
"Ministry") and the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg, for the purpose of
receiving funds from the Dedicated Gas Tax Funds for Public Transportation
Program.
WHEREAS The Town of Tillsonburg is desirous of entering into a Dedicated Gas Tax
Funds for Public Transportation Program Transfer Payment Agreement with Her Majesty
the Queen in right of the Province of Ontario, as represented by the Minister of
Transportation for the Province of Ontario.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT the agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" forms part of this By -Law;
2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorized to execute the attached agreement
marked as Schedule "A" on behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg;
3. AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute future
agreements for the purpose of receiving funds from the Dedicated Gas Tax Funds
for Public Transportation Program;
4. AND THAT this By -Law shall come into full force and take effect after the final
passing hereof.
