MINUTES of the meeting of the Municipal Council of the Town of Tillsonburg held
Friday, August 11, 2000 at 8:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers, Tillsonburg, Ontario.
PRESENT: Mayor B. Carroll, Deputy Mayor I. Horton, Councillor: D. Beres, S.
Lamb, G. Leachman, F. Lewis, S. Molnar, C. Rosehart and R. Smith
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
A. Called to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 A.M.
B. Reports
David Morris outlined section 23 of the procedural by-law that explains that to reconsider
a by-law the motion would have to come from a councillor that voted for the bylaw.
Moved by Fred Lewis
Seconded by Stephen Molnar
AND RESOLVED THAT BYLAW 2944 BE RECONSIDERED.
"CARRIED"
Discussion took place regarding the procedure.
Moved by Dave Beres
Seconded by Iry Horton
AND RESOLVED THAT the clerk be directed to prepare a repealing by-law to by-law
2944.
"CARRIED"
