of Tillsonburg support the Town of Gravenhurst's resolution dated September 4,
2001.

Seconded by Councillor Lewis AND RESOLVED THAT in accordance with
Section 14, By -Law No. 2718, Council approves the application submitted by
Hollister KIA for a variance to the Regulating Sign By -Law with the following
conditions:
1. The new Pylon sign is to be placed so that no part encroaches on
Municipal property.
2. The structural components, i.e. footings and sign are engineered.
3. The eastern most Pylon, Pole sign be moved so as not to encroach over
Municipal Property and the pole portion be removed to allow compliance with the
Pylon sign requirements.

Section 14, By -Law No. 2718, Council approves the application submitted by
Signs Galore (property owner - McLaughlin Bros) for a variance to the Regulating
Sign By -Law with the following conditions:
1. If the Municipality requires the sign to be moved for any reason in

, 0, the future, the property owner agrees to do so at the property owner's
expense.
2. The property owner shall provide written documentation to
indemnify and hold harmless, the Municipality from any liability
and risk associated with the sign.
3. The property owner shall be responsible for the costs associated
with registering the agreement on title of the property.

permit for the property known as 67 Simcoe Street, and staff be directed to prepare a

presentations, and passed the following resolution.

Seconded by Councillor Lewis AND RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg,
sitting as Trustees of the Tillsonburg Disaster Fund, authorize a matching amount of money as is
eonlbl) raised by the Tillsonburg Fire Department, up to $2,500.00, as a donation to assist the families of
the United States Firefighters, who dies in the line of duty at the New York Trade Centre.
