Presentations 6. General Business & Reports 6.1. Heritage Designation Homework Discussion regarding which sites should be listed to the registry. Looking for sites that play a historical role in Tillsonburg designation properties. Look for ways to encourage people to add their listings. Historical designations to consider:  Monuments, buildings, environmental designations  Indian Native Village  Antiaircraft Gun  The Legion  The Ruins of Lake Joseph’s Dam  Lake Lisgar & surrounding area  Gibson House (Drain under gazebo)  Boat Launch  Rotary Clock Tower  Post Office (includes bell from original Town Hall)  Memorial Arena  Interior of Crystal Palace  Masonic Temple  Odd Fellas Lodge  St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church  St. John’s Anglican Church  Sulphur Springs Discussion on how the Municipal register should be and what properties would qualify as a Heritage Listing. 6.2. The Tillsonburg Volunteer Achievement Awards Discussion on candidates for award recruitment. Chair to follow up regarding an advert-blitz for volunteer award.
