Discussion regarding which sites should be listed to the registry. Looking for
sites that play a historical role in Tillsonburg designation properties. Look for
ways to encourage people to add their listings. Historical designations to
consider:
Monuments, buildings, environmental designations
Indian Native Village
Antiaircraft Gun
The Legion
The Ruins of Lake Joseph’s Dam
Lake Lisgar & surrounding area
Gibson House (Drain under gazebo)
Boat Launch
Rotary Clock Tower
Post Office (includes bell from original Town Hall)
Memorial Arena
Interior of Crystal Palace
Masonic Temple
Odd Fellas Lodge
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church
St. John’s Anglican Church

Discussion on how the Municipal register should be and what properties
would qualify as a Heritage Listing.
6.2. The Tillsonburg Volunteer Achievement Awards
Discussion on candidates for award recruitment. Chair to follow up regarding
an advert-blitz for volunteer award. Form for nominations is on the Town’s
website.
