1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 4:14 p.m. by Chair Christine Wade
2. Adoption of Agenda

THAT the Agenda as prepared for the Tillsonburg 150 Ad-Hoc Committee meeting
of February 15, 2022, be adopted.

3. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
February 1, 2022 Committee Minutes – no errors or omissions.
4. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof

5. General Business and Reports
5.1. Tillsonburg 150 Events Review & Implementation
The Committee did a review of homework completed from the previous
meeting, Opening Ceremony and the Flag Raising, Harvard Fly Over, Time
Capsule.
Discussion was had making suggestions on what should be included in the time
capsule.
Call for Volunteers – List has been started and an estimate for how many
volunteers will be needed.
Alexandra Webber joined the meeting at 4:30
Variety Show Review – Rotary Club would like to help
Discussions about the Event Permit process and access to washrooms
St John’s Ambulance
Security is a requirement with a beer tent
Kids Zone – 3:30 – 7:30 bouncy castles, games, train, face paining and balloon
making, shaws cream truck for sale, sell - popcorn machine, cotton candy
Strahallen – offered advertising space, Tilly the monkey - we could ask them to
sponsor the kid zone.
Open swim at Lake Lisgar – Sponsored or ½ price
Discussion on advertising and mail outs
How to thank Sponsors – Banner? Thank you Cards
Save the date mail out to households agreed on to go out by the committee
Souvenirs –
Fire Association – at the kids zone free service.
Volunteer suggestions
6. Next Meeting
March 1, 2022 at 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The April 19th Committee meeting is in conflict with a Council meeting so the
Committee meeting is changed to the April 14th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
