"Carried" ADOPTION OF AGENDA > No. 3 Moved by Councillor Beres Seconded by Councillor Molnar AND RESOLVED THAT the Agenda as prepared for the Council Meeting of September 8, 2003 be adopted. "Carried" PRESENTATIONS PUBLIC MEETINGS DELEGATIONS > Superbuild Project Up -Date Mr. Lubomir Dzamba of Stafford Haensli Architects, Architect for the Superbuild Project, appeared before Council to provide an up -date with respect to the status of the Project. Mr. Dzamba advised, with regret, that the target date for first public use of the ice facilities has been changed to November 15th. Mr. Dzamba explained the work that remained, along with timelines. Mayor Horton explained how disappointing it was that the original target date could not be met, and /ank, apologized to all that will be effected. Page 2 • MINUTES: Meeting for the Committee °Open Council" Councillor Molnar noted that Council and staff are committed to assist user groups in finding alternative locations until the project is complete. Mr. Dzamba confirmed that November 15th will give use to all functional areas of the facility. There may be minimal painting remaining. QUARTERLY REPORTS > 1. Community Services - Quarterly Report Presented By: Director of Community Services Community Services 2nd Quarter Report 2003 No. 4 Moved by Councillor Molnar Seconded by Councillor Beres AND RESOLVED THAT the 2nd Quarter 2003 Staff Report from the Director of Community Services, dated July 24th, 2003, be received.
