Tender results for Tender T2004-076 Compact Car [�j Presented By: Director of Operations Resolution > No. 5 Moved by Councillor Stephenson Seconded by Councillor Lewis AND RESOLVED THAT the report from the Fleet Manager dated May 24, 2004 regarding the Compact Car Tender be received; AND FURTHER THAT the bid for Tender T2004-076 be awarded to Pearce Motors with the lowest tender bid of $15,540.20. Escapes Facade Improvement Loan [j Presented By: Michael Graves Resolution > No. 7 Moved by Councillor Lewis Seconded by Councillor Stephenson AND RESOLVED THAT the Staff Report dated April 7th, 2004 regarding the Fagade Improvement Loan Application received from Escapes Salon & Spa, be hereby approved for a total principal sum of up to $2,782 at prime rate of interest to be repaid annually over ten (10) year for the property at 122 Broadway; AND FURTHER THAT a By -Law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a fagade improvement loan agreement between the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg and applicants, be presented to Council for enactment at such time as the final cost estimates are finalized and accepted by the Owner and recommended to Council. This is the report that was sent to the BIA at their June 2, 2004 meeting. They agreed that the by-law should remain the same and that it was a good idea to look for a more permanent solution for event signage. They wish to investigate some options for event signage and report back to council; however; they wanted it to be clear that the sandwich board situation should remain the same as it is currently. "Carried" Moved by Deputy Mayor Smith Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT By -Law Number 3113 to adopt the 2004 budgetary estimates and tax rates be given third and final reading and the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to sign the same and place the Corporate seal thereunto.
