Proposed Young Street Watermain Extension Presented By: CAO Resolution No. 2 Moved by Councillor Stephenson Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT the staff report dated June 17, 2005 regarding the proposed Young Street Watermain Extension be received; THAT the attached service agreement be approved; AND FURTHER THAT the Council of the County of Oxford be requested to approve the subject watermain extension within the Town of Tillsonburg and connection to the subject property within the Municipality of Norfolk without Official Plan Amendment but subject to a Service Agreement in accordance with an existing Intermunicipal Boundary Agreement. Report - Aimpowergen name change for Easement Agreement Presented By: Michael Graves Resolution No. 3 Moved Councillor Stephenson Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT staff be authorized to make the amendments recommended by the Town's Solicitor to the easement agreement with Erie Shores Windfarm Limited Partnership and that the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to sign said agreement. "Carried" FINANCE INFORMATION ITEMS RESOLUTIONS 3. Proposed Resolution RE: Opportunity for Snowbirds' Appearance in Tillsonburg June 26, 2005 Presented By: Mayor and Director of Community Services Resolutions No. 4 Moved by Councillor Renaud Seconded by Councillor Patenaude AND RESOLVED THAT Town Council support the opportunity for the Snowbirds to appear in Tillsonburg June 26th, 2005; THAT authorization be given to proceed with the necessary approvals and arrangements; AND FURTHER THAT expenditures associated with this performance not exceed $6,000, and that these costs be taken from Council Reserves. "Carried" No. 5 Moved by Councillor Lewis Seconded by Councillor Stephenson AND RESOLVED THAT the municipal council of the Town of Tillsonburg hereby authorizes the Chief Fire Official of the Tillsonburg Fire Service to enter into agreement with the Municipality of the Township of South-West Oxford Fire Department to provide such Fire Protection and Fire Prevention services as Page 3 MINUTES: Meeting for the Committee "Open Council" deemed necessary by the Chief Fire Official for the Town of Tillsonburg to facilitate an Air Show Demonstration on the property located within the Township of South-West Oxford, in the County of Oxford, commonly referred to as the Tillsonburg Municipal Airport on Sunday June 26th between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. in accordance with the authority permitted by Section 19 (2) of the Municipal Act; 2002, c. 17, Sched. A, s. 7. The services to be provided by Tillsonburg Fire Services are deemed not to be contrary to Section 2(5)(a) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997c.4. "Carried" BY-LAWS 4. By -Law 3167 - To Authorize the Sale of Certain Lands on Clearview Drive to Sylard Enterprises Ltd.. in Trust C) 5. By -Law 3168 - To Open Up and Establish Part of Bayham Drive [1 Resolutions Moved by Deputy Mayor Smith Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT By -Law 3167 to authorize the sale of certain lands on Clearview Drive to Sylard Enterprises Ltd., in Trust; and By -Law 3168 to Open Up and Establish Part of Bayham Drive be introduced and read for a first and second time and be referred to Committee of the Whole for further consideration and this constitutes the first and second reading thereof. "Carried" Moved by Deputy Mayor Smith Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT Committee do now rise and go into Committee of the Whole for the purpose of considering By -Law Numbers 3167 and 3168. "Carried" Moved by Deputy Mayor Smith Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT Committee do now rise and report on By -Law Numbers 3167 and 3168 as passed in Committee without amendment. "Carried" Moved by Deputy Mayor Smith Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT By -Law 3167 to authorize the sale of certain lands on Clearview Drive to Sylard Enterprises Ltd., in Trust; and By -Law 3168 to Open Up and Establish Part of Bayham Drive be given third and final reading and the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to sign the same and place the Corporate seal thereunto.
