BY-LAW 2022-040
A by-Law to amend By-Law Number 3798, being a by-law to prohibit or regulate
signs and other advertising devices and the posting of notices within the Town of
Tillsonburg
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to amend By-Law 3798 to allow
business to advertise more aggressively during the re-opening and recovery phase of
the COVID-19 pandemic
THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg,
enacts as follows:
1. That section the definition of Temporary Banner Sign under section 2.1 Definitions
be amended to delete the following:
“July 13, 2021 and May 31, 2022.”
2. THAT the definition of Temporary Banner Sign under section 2.1 be amended to
add the following:
“May 24, 2022 and May 31, 2023.”
3. That these amendments to By-Law 3798 are hereby declared to be a part of that
by-law as if written therein.
4. That this by-law shall come into force and take effect of the date it is passed.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 24TH DAY OF MAY, 2022.
